Regulations on Use of New Slag Pots：
1. Before a new slag pot is put into use, the post worker must check and confirm the safety of the slag tank. Only after confirming that there are no safety hazards in the ear shaft, tank body and other parts, can it be used, and carefully fill in the "Confirmation Form before the Use of New Slag Pot".

2. There must be no water or moisture in the slag pot. Otherwise, it must be treated and dried before it can be used.

3. The crane driver has the right to refuse to lift the slag tank if he finds that there is water in the slag tank, no slag padding or the ear shaft is defective. He should notify the slag room operator to handle it before lifting.

4. When lifting the slag pot, the operator must command the whole process, and the crane driver must absolutely obey the command of the ground personnel and must not lift without authorization.

5. When lifting the red slag pot from the slag car or lifting the slag tank onto the slag car, the slag room operator is responsible for commanding the lifting, and the slag room operator is responsible for the safe placement of the slag ladle.

6. Before the converter slag is poured, the slag car operator and the converter furnace manager must confirm that there is no water or moisture in the slag pot before they can carry out the slag pouring operation. The slag pouring should be slow, not too violent or too fast, and it is strictly forbidden to pour molten steel into the slag pot.

7. After the converter slag is poured, if the slag pot needs to be replaced, the slag car operator should check whether there are people or obstacles around the slag car before driving, and the slag car should turn on the sound and light alarm device during the operation.

8. When the slag pot is full and needs to be replaced, if the red slag in the slag pot splashes (flies), the slag room post worker should take measures to control the splashing (flying), or wait until the red slag in the pot is stable before commanding the overhead crane to hang.

9. When lifting the slag pot filled with red slag, the slag room operator must carefully direct the operation. Before lifting, it must be confirmed whether the gantry hooks on both sides are properly hung and firmly hung. Safety monitoring must be carried out throughout the lifting process (especially for the burned slag pot, a dedicated person must call all personnel under the driving line during the lifting process) to ensure the safety of the slag pot during the lifting process.

Slag Pot Scrapping Standards:
1. Cracks at the root of slag pot trunnion;
2. Cracks at the bottom and wall of slag pot;
3. Serious warping of the trunnion;
4. Serious deformation of slag pot wall and mouth;
5. The slag pot is seriously stuck to steel and cannot be cleared out for use.
