  • Transmitting Ultra-Heavy Loads (The Load-Bearing Backbone): The total weight of the rotary kiln—including the steel shell, internal refractory brick lining, and tons of calcined materials—is entirely transmitted through the tyres to the supporting roller devices below. It serves as the "load-bearing backbone" of the rotary kiln.
  • Reinforcing Shell Rigidity (The Structural Shield): During continuous high-temperature operations, the steel kiln shell is highly susceptible to radial deformation caused by gravity and thermal stress. Positioned externally around the shell, the tyre acts as a powerful reinforcing band, preventing the shell from losing its circularity or sagging, thereby protecting the internal refractory bricks from dislodging.
  • Ensuring Smooth Rotation (The Alignment Axis): The tyre forms a rolling friction pair with the support rollers below. Driven by the transmission system, the tyre rolls smoothly on the rollers, ensuring that the rotary kiln—which can be dozens or even hundreds of meters long—maintains perfect coaxiality for stable, smooth, and long-term rotation.
