The ball mill head—also widely known as the ball mill end cover, mill end shield, or mill head trunnion—is a critical component of grinding ball mill system. Positioned at both ends of the ball mill cylinder, it bears the immense, continuous rotational and cyclic fatigue loads exerted by the entire mill body, liners, and internal grinding media.

  • Dual Flaw Detection (UT/MT): Internal structures of the mill head trunnion undergo rigorous Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) via secondary flaw detection instruments to ensure zero defects.
